In Bromyard Herefordshire was hit by an earthquake the depth is about 3.2 km and the magnitude is 3.6 ML . The British Geological Survey received a number of reports because of an earthquake from residents in the Herefordshire area. The epicentre was close to the town of Bromyard, about 20 km west of Worcester. The reports described “”a thump as if someone had jumped off the bed upstairs” and
“loud boom noise as though something extremely heavy had fallen on the wood floor above my head” There is one earthquake in the United Kingdom every year. The earthquake strength has been described as moderate. There are some reports also that indicated that “people were woken from sleep and a few were frightened.” This is the largest earthquake that beat the area since the magnitude 4.7 in Dudley, West Midlands last September 22 2002. This was widely felt in England and Wales. We should be ready for the every disaster that come is our life,be strong always. This is the time wherein no one can stop.
