    Folkestone hit by earthquake

     

    The earthquake that hit in the Folkestone is measured about 2.8. The Dover and the Folkestone is hit by the tremor. Some areas was also affected, people reported the effects of the shake.  The residents there are shocked because they have feared that the 4.3 will repeated again, it is about two years ago. The earthquake lasted in a few seconds. It was depress serious than the April 2007 earthquake, which is the reason the chimneys fall. Some of the structural was also damage. One of the people in Folkestone said that “The house shook. It was really frightening. We just thought ‘oh no, not again!’  she is Carolyn Jeffrey, she is from Cheriton. she also added that “It felt like a lorry had hit the house. It lasted a matter of seconds and there doesn’t seem to have been any damage.” Earthquake is a serious disaster so that every country should think how to stop and think for the solution on how to stop this kind of disaster.
