Terichem uses the same information system as its holding company in Finland and it has upgraded its overall business performance, the large manufacturer selected S&T Slovakia to implement the my SAP All-in-One Solution. In 1995, the Terichem was founded as a joint venture between the Slovakian company Chemosvit and the Finnish company AB RANILPLAST OY. The production of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films for polymer packaging used in electrical and technical application is the main focus of Terichem’s business activities. In Slovakia and Ukraine, the Terichem operates production facilities and distributes its products world -wide.
During this project, the challenge for S&T Slovakia was optimize business processes and to make the production data as transparent. At Terichem, the decision to implement the ERP solution was partly related to the use of the SAP information system by the parent company in Finland. By the parent company, the SAP solution harmonizes all processes and reporting tools with those used.
The implementation of financial, logistics, workflow control modules and quality is involves by the mySAP All-in-One. The development of the information systems is planned for the maintenance module. The S&T Slovakia was chosen to provide the solution due to its extensive experience with the SAP implementations and references from the manufacturing sector.
The CFO at Terichem, Ladislav said that they can see the benefits of the mySAP All-in-One implementation, also the replacing of the different information systems which are unsuitable for the certain modules with one sophisticated system. There is an improvement in the data quality. The basis was created for more efficient coordination of the production, sales and logistic.
