    Devastating Floods Heading for Germany

     

    In Poland the current flooding along the Oder and Vistula rivers was heading north towards Germany. Fifteen people have been killed in Poland as the raging of waters break levees and flood to the entire villages and towns. The officials have called the flooding worse than expected,”. More than a decade the worst flooding to strike in Poland. It continued in its destructive path. There were fifteen dead, The flooding has been in the center of the Oder and Vistula Rivers.. The flood was expected to reach the Germany, it pushes the north towards the border. In Poland’s Vistula River Northwest of Warsaw, because of the flooding there the heaviest damage was experience there.  The situation there was ” worse than expected” Polish Interior Minister Jerzy Miller told reporters. “After the banks burst on the river near the city of Plock, around 100 kilometers from Warsaw, 18 communities had to be evacuated. And the Polish media is reporting that the Vistula had flooded an area of around 8,000 hectares, including 23 towns and villages.” The polish authorities  blew up the dikes at several locations, the news channel TVN24 reported. About these measures the authorities will lead the Vistula to flow back into its river bed. There were 4, 000 people and thousands of animals that were evacuated. The officials was worried that the thousands that living in the towns of Gabin and Slubice on the border with the Germany could be at risk. Some of the sites was visited by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that nit by the flooding. It was promised the equivalent of tens of millions of dollars in aid. The situation was not expected to return to the normal. The things that was happening in the world has a reason. People should be always alert have some things that will help you during in this kind of calamity. This kind of calamity can not stand by any one else.
