    Flash floods inundate central Europe

     

     

    After the heavy rains and stormy winds across the Central Europe killed at least fifteen people. The rescue workers explore to clear the flood-borne debris including the damaged cars and evacuate victims. Polish officials said “Heavy downpours on Saturday caused rivers to overflow their banks and a dam to burst, submerging Bogatynia and other towns in the southwest corner of Poland and killing at least three people” then the Fire Brigade spokesman Pawel Fratczak told Reuters by telephone, “One woman drowned in Bogatynia on Saturday. The body of another woman and a 55-year-old rescuer swept away by a dam burst on Saturday were found” The Polish PAP news agency said, “Flood damage and deaths also were reported in neighboring countries. The death toll in the Czech Republic grew to five on Sunday and another three were missing and feared drowned” The three people died in the German town of Neukirchen, it was near the  Czech border. There were falling trees and structures that killed and there were also injured in neighboring Lithuania.  To evacuate the flood victims and clear the debris the army8, police and the fire-service rescuers was using amphibious. The Prime Minister Donald Tusk pledging financial said to the flood victims “identical to that offered to those who suffered during this May and June floods.” In the Burst dam the waters submerged most of the Bogatynia flowing into the Nysa, the border river between the Poland and Germany was swelling because of the burst supply dam. In Poland the meteorologist do not forecast heavy downpours. Across the Poland which was caused widespread property damage and claimed some two dozen lives was deluge in the major spring and summer flooding. Thousands of residents in the Czech Republic remained without electricity and gas. The President Vaclav Klaus was expected to visit to the region that was suffered in the calamity. The storms and high winds in the eastern  Slovakia left several regions with no electricity, there were major damage, casualities and injuries that reporter.  During that people experiencing calamity like this you should be alert.
