The Germany was on alert because of the flood. In the Western Germany the authorities there was on alert as the Rhine and Main rivers started to flow over the Bonn, Koblenz and Frankfurt. The flood was on the way of the places of the Bonn, Koblenz and Frankfurt. The flood levels along the German rivers Rhine and Main were no longer rising this was the good news to the people there, the authorities update this kind of good news. The meteorologist said that “they had predicted a far worse situation. ” The fire fighters and the other local officials was so busy in assisting and helping the residents in the affected areas. Norbert Gras the Koblenz Fire Department official stated that ” “We are trying to make it possible for people to leave their homes by building walkways. Where we can’t reach them with walkways we are organising Unimog (truck) trips so that people can go shopping and don’t have to starve (smiles). It also allows them to go on doctor’s visits,”. Most of the streets along the Rhine in the Western City of Koblenz were flooded, with the p0eople resorting to canoes to move around. In the area that has been affected by the flood the recuers still helping them. However they continue in the areas worst hit by the inundation attributed mainly in the melting of the snow caps. Most of the countries experience this kind of tragedy so that the people should be ready in any disasters that comes in their lives. The people who didn’t suffer in this case of trials in life they can help in small and big thing also. They can contribute some kind of foods and clothes.
